Private Paragliding Day: Half-Day and Full-Day Flights
One flight is rarely enough. On a private paragliding day in Zermatt, you spend half a day or a full day in the air with your own pilot, over one or more flights from different take-offs around Zermatt from different take-offs, all in front of the Matterhorn. It is our most complete experience: up to three hours of total airtime, planned around the best conditions of the day.

Both options take off from anywhere in the Zermatt mountains, between approx. 2,200 and 3,883 m above sea level, and are available almost year-round, weather permitting.

Who is a private paragliding day for?
It is for guests who want more than a single flight: people who have flown before and want to go further, travellers who have a day in Zermatt and want to make paragliding the highlight of their trip, and anyone who simply wants to spend as much time in the air as possible.
Because the day is private, everything is planned around you. Your pilot chooses the take-offs and the timing to follow the best conditions, from calm morning flights to strong afternoon thermals, and adapts the style of flying to what you enjoy. No experience is needed.
How the day works
- Meeting point. We meet at Bahnhofplatz 7, right next to Zermatt’s Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn station and one minute’s walk from the Gornergrat railway.
- Plan of the day. Your pilot looks at the weather and chooses the take-offs and the order of the flights.
- Flying. One or more flights from different take-offs around Zermatt, in front of the Matterhorn and across the Zermatt valley.
- Breaks.
- Back in Zermatt. The day ends with a landing in Zermatt village.
A paragliding day or a single flight?
If you prefer a single flight, the Matterhorn VIP gives you around 25 minutes in front of the Matterhorn for CHF 300. For the longest single flight, choose the cross country flight, with around 35 minutes of airtime, or the Top Fly Glacier, with the highest take-off in Europe at 3,883 m.

What is the difference between the half day and the full day?
The half day includes approx. 60–120 minutes of total airtime over 2 to 4 hours, for CHF 700. The full day includes approx. 120–180 minutes of total airtime over 4 to 5 hours, for CHF 1,200. In both cases, the airtime can be split into several flights from different take-offs, depending on the conditions.
Do I need any experience?
No. All flights are tandem flights with a certified pilot who controls the paraglider. If you have flown before, your pilot can plan more demanding thermal flights.
Is the price per person or per group?

What happens if the weather changes during the day?
Safety comes first. Your pilot adapts the plan to the conditions. If we cancel your day because of weather or safety conditions, you receive a full refund, minus a 5% confirmation fee. ⚠ CONFIRMAR: ¿qué pasa si solo se puede volar parte del día?
Are photos and videos included?

What should I wear?
Sturdy shoes, long trousers and warm layers, as it can be cold at altitude even in summer. Sunglasses and sun cream are recommended for a day in the mountains.
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes. If you cancel at least 48 hours before your day, you receive a refund minus the 5% confirmation fee. Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable.
