What an incredible experience flying over the alps and the Matterhorn! Julio made everything super easy. His communication was excellent and his talent as a pilot is second to none. There are several other options for paragliding out of Zermatt but I’m sure no one is his equal for safety, quality of service and just plain fun!!!

Super fun experience! Julio and Eric are experienced riders with over 30 years of experience. They are warm, friendly and super nice to talk to. Great chatting with them along the way to the top. I’d recommend spending 40 CHF to get the photos and videos!

I randomly had the thought of going for paragliding, and Julio was the only one willing to fly with me in the relatively cloudy and windy weather in Zermatt. he has an amazing personality and he made my whole first experience of paragliding so enjoyable from start to finish. the ride went extremely smooth and he did a couple of manoeuvres in the air, and checked with me if i was okay to go for the manoeuvres again. truly an unforgettable experience. thanks Julio for being so warm and welcoming and sporty.

My first time doing the tandem paragliding in Zermatt by FLYBYPARA with my instructor Julio.

In terms of safety, he is very professional, keeps on checking the wind whether is suitable to fly.

I'm glad I did the paragliding in Zermatt and flying around Matterhorn. The view is very nice. U will never regret.

Julio is the best pilot ever , so does Eric, Julio is so nice , talented, humorous, patient and sweet. Always put the safety first, comfort us when we are feeling nervous ,share a lot useful information we need , we cannot fly in in the morning when we get to the Gornergart. Fortunately, Julio and Eric didn't give up on us. Keep finding the solution for us, all the story seems like an action movie but turns out so good. We also experienced the helicopter ride in my very first time.

We have an unforgettable memory for this paragliding with Julio and Eric.

My husband and I flew with Julio and Martín and we had an amazing experience. It was our first time paragliding and we couldn't have picked a better place to do it than Zermatt. Great time in the sky

We like flybypara as they are friendly and not too commercial. The pilots always checking out on us to ensure we are okay and having a good time. I and my sister had a great fun in the sky with Julio and David. Definitely would recommend to our friends!

My husband and I had a wonderful experience paragliding with Julio and Martin! Communication with Julio before the experience was easy and helpful; he helped us prepare what to bring and kept watch of the weather to ensure we knew in advance if we were going to be flying that day.

The flight was perfect. All instructions were very clear and we felt safe. There was little wind that day, but Julio clearly communicated how we could take off powerfully and it was splendid. Great instructor and a perfect experience in Zermatt!

I was really scared to do this, but I'm so glad I did! One thing that I can say is that I felt so safe the entire time paragliding. Our pilot Julio was simply the best! Highly recommend this tour.

My partner and I flew with Julio and Amede on a beautiful sunny day in late June. The meeting point was very easy to find, right at the train station of Zermatt and I was texted pics through WhatsApp of where to go the day before our booking. This was our first time paragliding and I was given clear instructions on what would happen in order to launch, during the tram up to the launching area. It's the most relaxing and beautiful flight down. I felt very safe and comfortable, as did my partner. We were both given extra layers, gloves, helmet etc for the flight. They had go pros and had the option of buying videos/pics at the end. 40 chf extra. I highly recommend this tour with Julio and his crew!

Great experience!

First of all, Julio was great!! One of the things I said I’ll do in Zermatt is to paraglide by the Matterhorn. I came there later in the afternoon and it seemed like he was actually about to go home. But, Julio accommodated me! We were able to take the last ride up and we ended up paragliding a little bit before sunset! It was amazing!! Nothing can compare to it. The pictures and videos are also worth it. Julio took great videos and pictures with his go pro.

The views are great! With snow covered mountains, it's like paragliding in winter but yet it's the start of Summer. Julio and company are a fun group of people. Videos and pictures are nicely taken but would be great if they can put it as a montage too. So that it can be readily shared in FB or Instagram.

The best Activity in Zermatt

Julio is one of the most experienced paragliders in Switzerland and has all the knowledge to make sure you feel safe and comfortable. Was a one of a life time experience that I believe I will do it again just because of Julio from flybypara, a full of joy professional, amazing pictures and videos of everything to keep the memory always alive. Julio Riviera Armijos was an amazing pilot! I had originally booked for a flight on Saturday but the weather was not looking good. He personally reached out to reschedule to the next day as the forecast called for clear skies. He was so kind and made the flight so much fun. What is the best way to see the Matterhorn ?

My husband and I chose to go tandem paragliding with Julio and Erik at FlybyPara during our two days trip to Zermatt and we are so happy that we did!

We were lucky enough to have a clear day and to see the Matterhorn when we arrived to Zermatt town from Lausanne. (Trust me, the weather in Zermatt and Switzerland is soooooo unpredictable as it indeed changes multiple times during the day) I was literally looking into MetteoSwiss app every day to check the weather during our entire trip to Switzerland.

We called Julio about an hour prior to our arrival at Zermatt and we are happy that we booked our first ever paragliding with Julio at FlybyPara! Even if it was on such a short notice, Julio called me back to notify that they would be able to fly both of us on the day of our arrival. And our experience with them ? Two thumbs up!!! From the exciting beginning of flight briefing provided by Julio at the the Zermatt terminal, once in a life time paragliding with the amazing view of the Matterhorn and the safe landing on the ground at the end, it was a truly memorable and indescribable experience! My husband who flew with Erik obviously had a wonderful time of flying as shown in the attached pictures and Julio was a great pilot who always helped me manage my anxiety symptoms before the take off and during the flight.

Put simply, it is impossible not to feel humbled by the beauty of Switzerland’s most famous mountain(unless you’re unlucky enough to get a cloudy day, in which case you might not see the peak at all) and if you would like to make your trip to this beautiful town of Zermatt more special, look no further, but book with Julio at FlybyPara! They are fun, professional and quite understanding and I strongly recommend them for anyone interested in paragliding in Zermatt. You won’t be disappointed and I guarantee you will love and remember the experience!

It was an absolutely spectacular experience, I had an awesome view from Up above seeing the Swiss Alps especially up close to Matterhorn. Eric was very professional and knowledgeable, I had so Much fun flying with him.

My experience with FLYBYPARA paragliding was nothing short of exhilarating. From the moment I arrived at their base camp, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. Julio was knowledgeable and experienced, instantly putting my nerves at ease.

The safety briefing was comprehensive, covering all aspects of the flight and ensuring that I felt confident before takeoff. The equipment was top-notch, and I felt secure knowing that everything had been thoroughly checked and maintained.

The entire flight felt incredibly safe, with the pilot constantly monitoring conditions and making adjustments as needed. I never once felt anxious or uneasy, allowing me to fully immerse myself in the experience and appreciate the beauty of the natural surroundings.

As we prepared for landing, I couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude for the unforgettable journey I had just experienced. Touching down smoothly back at the base camp, I was filled with a sense of exhilaration and accomplishment.

Overall, my experience with FLYBYPARA paragliding exceeded all expectations. From the professionalism of the staff to the breathtaking views and thrilling flight, every aspect was exceptional. I would highly recommend FLYBYPARA to anyone looking for an unforgettable adventure in the sky.

Safe & Excitement

Enjoy the bird eyes view from the sky on Zermatt and Matterhorn, totally made the whole trip even more exciting and memorable, my whole business management team love this! Julio will never take risk on his customers, only allowed us to fly when the sky is clear and safe! It’s a “must do ” activity in Zermatt town! And you have to do it with FlyByPara!

We left in the morning just when the sun burnt off the fog, and the views were incredible. The entire process was seamless, thanks to our guides, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. It was nothing like I’ve ever done, and words enough can’t describe the feeling you have while flying in the sky. If you are on the fence, this is your sign to do it. There is nothing in the world like this. Just be weary if you get motion sickness; I felt a little nauseous at the end.
