In the air, everything makes sense.

That’s how Mathieu Devaud, a passionate pilot from La Gruyère, describes paragliding. Flying since 2019 and tandem-certified since 2025, he shares his love of the sky through discovery flights, thermal soaring, XC adventures, and high-adrenaline rides — always with a calm, reassuring presence and contagious enthusiasm.

Outside tandem flying, Mathieu is active in cross-country competitions with the Swiss League and is training to become a certified instructor under SHV/FSVL. He’s flown all over Switzerland and as far as India, always chasing that perfect line in the sky.

Deeply connected to nature and his home region, he also works in agriculture and bakes sourdough bread in a wood-fired oven — balancing sky and earth, flight and roots.

Flying with Mathieu is stepping into a world of wonder, quiet passion, and the pure joy of being airborne.
